Win. Equip. Serve.
Winning the Lost
At Cherokee Hills we believe in proclaiming and living out the gospel of Jesus Christ. Like the saints of old, who, “every day went into the temple complex and in various homes proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah” (Acts 5:42) – we too consider it our great privilege and responsibility to tell any and all the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Equipping the Saved
We are thankful that God has given us teachers and preachers here at Cherokee Hills that seek to “train the saints in the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son” (Eph. 12-13). Every member of Cherokee Hills is given a language and a license, fully equipped, to be who God has called them to be and do what God has called them to do. From our preaching on Sunday mornings to our Wednesday night theological classes, at Cherokee Hills we are intentional about equipping the saved for the work of the Lord.
At Cherokee Hills we strive to “work for the good of all” as we journey through life together (Gal 6:10). In serving one another, it is the love of Christ that compels us to “carry one another’s burdens” (Gal 6:2), not thinking too highly of ourselves and always considering others needs more important than our own (Phil 2:3-4). Within the walls of Cherokee Hills, in the streets of OKC, and to the valley of the “uttermost” we seek to selflessly serve as Christ has served us.
